In 2023, I spent several days crafting my company’s name “ThinkTan” but I barely spent five minutes designing the logo as I just needed a placeholder for my website. It’s also simple and clean when used as a letterhead. The simplicity of the logo now comes in handy as I get Google’s Nano Banana Pro to transform it into a space station. I spent about 30 minutes iterating these different designs.
I’m finding the new Nano Banana engine to be so powerful that it’s clear that it’s my imagination and my words that are hampering the output. While I teach everyone to write short and efficient prompts for LLMs like ChatGPT and Gemini, the latest image generation tools need longer and more specific prompts, as well as the ability to think through the design aesthetics.
FYI, I used Google AI Studio instead of Gemini to generate these images as I could select the aspect ratio and resolution. NBP can produce images in 1K, 2K, and 4K resolution (which isn’t great, the details are a little fuzzy).
