My final Gen AI workshop for the year was with the passionate brand ambassadors from RSIS | S. Rajaratnam School of International Studies – Daisry OBAL, Jelvin Jose, Anna Monique Bauer 白安娜, and Khemachart Petpraist. RSIS is a global graduate school and think tank at Nanyang Technological University Singapore that focuses on strategic studies and security affairs. Thank you to Geanina Bujoreanu for making this workshop possible!
We had a great afternoon together. Apart from imparting advanced Gen AI techniques and showing them how to create impactful content in new ways, I offered some useful tips on being a content creator. After all, I’ve been building the online presence of my employers and myself since I first got onto Facebook 20 years ago.
Today, Gen AI has lowered the barriers to entry for content creators but also made it much harder for them to differentiate themselves. My approach (since forever) is simple – be yourself, be passionate about what you do + what you do for your organisation, and post content that is valuable to other people. As such, whether you post once a week or daily, the content is unforced and people will be drawn to your honesty and your heart.
I showed them how, in the same way, I post regularly about my work at Wee Kim Wee School of Communication and Information and my consultancy work at ThinkTan. I love what I do, and I like to tell people about it. That’s brand ambassadorship in a nutshell!
