Time flies! It’s been two years since I partnered with The Straits Times to launch the Masterclass in Generative AI for the public. We run our Masterclasses almost every quarter, and have expanded the course into Fundamentals and Advanced modules – each lasting a full day – to cater to different levels of AI literacy. We have also introduced a Mandarin version of the Fundamentals class, which is still a rarity in Singapore despite the proliferation of Gen AI courses.
This week, I was glad to teach the latest Masterclass (Fundamentals) batch new Gen AI techniques using apps like ChatGPT, Gemini, and Google NotebookLM. We also explored other apps like Gamma, Elevenlabs, Copilot, Adobe Firefly, Perplexity, Suno, and Google Labs. There are always new apps to learn, but what is most important is building the right mindset to adapt and self-learn as Gen AI continues to advance.
