My Career Health Matters Roadshow at Bukit Panjang Plaza

Yesterday, I was invited by Workforce Singapore to give a public workshop on how Gen AI can help with job hunting. The session was part of the “My Career Health Matters” roadshow at Bukit Panjang Plaza which runs till tomorrow (17 May). The roadshow is organised by both WSG and SkillsFuture SG.

I showed the audience how to generate effective resumes, restructure them for career pivots and specific job roles, use AI live chats to practice interview skills and evaluate job offer documents.

The audience asked many good questions, and most of all, they wanted to find out which Gen AI app was the most generous with free usage. “Google Gemini!” I said.

I also hollered to the long queue of people on the third floor (Andes by Astons was offering chargrilled chicken meals at $0.21!) to get their attention. Since you’re already waiting in the queue, you might as well learn how to utilise AI, yah?

By the way, I love doing these public presentations. It’s always a fun challenge to see how many heads I can turn in a busy mall and to get them to learn something new.

Also, thank you to roadshow staff member Gretchen who helped to take the photos!
