Motion graphics with Claude

This morning, I made 10 slides to depict how I approach problem solving using dots as visual metaphors. This afternoon, I thought to myself, “Hmm, with so many people using AI for motion graphics, why don’t I hand my slides to Claude to animate?”

I used the desktop Claude app for this. I placed the 10 slides into a folder and prompted:

“study my slides and turn it into motion graphics, 16:9 aspect ratio, follow the same design”.

I had to go through two more iterations to correct some visual errors (due to the inconsistency of my slide designs) and rework how the dotted lines were animated. But wow, this sort of motion graphics work used to take hours. I got it done in 15 minutes. Of course, having clear reference visuals is an important ingredient for smooth video!
