Claude AI-powered Artifacts: Making your own apps with Gen AI just got easier with Claude. Anthropic just launched a dedicated space for building, hosting, and sharing artifacts, and the ability to embed AI capabilities directly into them.
I tried out their demo of the Rhythm Machine, which was apparently created with this simple prompt (from Anthropic):
“Create a simple scrolling interactive drum machine where the user can type in what type of drum beat they want, the app makes that beat, and then the user can manually adjust the beat with the UI. Uses the Claude API to parse the user’s input and map it to a preset drum beat.”
You get this fully-interactive machine where you not only have buttons to press, you get type in your own prompt to generate new rhythm patterns.
