I am experimenting with Claude AI’s new custom styles. I uploaded my writing samples and tried some random prompts.
VERDICT: Still sounds like a generic chatbot, just with a little more flair and a little less insipid
(“Insipid” is why I can easily recognise your AI-generated comments. Now, Gen AI hardly uses “insipid” for fear of offending you.)
Even with my custom style, I had to keep prompting Claude to use simpler words – I don’t like to use strings of many syllables in any sentence (I mean, just read this paragraph) because too many complex words slow the reader down.
