Claude gets more powerful

Claude AI, a favorite LLM among writers and coders, seems to have received a quiet upgrade under the hood.

A few days ago, I fed a one-hour audio transcript into Claude and asked it to clean it up by arranging the mess of text into proper paragraphs and removing filler words. Usually, Claude would do this work in chunks, so I had to keep typing “continue” for the next 10-15 minutes until the cleaning was completed. I would also copy each chunk in case Claude suddenly choked on the data and stopped the process.

This time, using my usual prompt that you see here, Claude cleaned up the entire text at one go (about 2500 words) and I had a ready document in just two minutes. WOW.

I stepped out of my bedroom to tell my wife what happened and I said, “OK, I have more time to play Ninja Gaiden 2 Black now.”

(FYI, I pay for Claude. I don’t think the free version will do the same for you.)
