“How should we react when we receive emails that seem too perfectly written, that is very ChatGPT-ed?” This was a good question that came up during one of my recent Gen AI workshops.
My immediate response was: “It’s the intention that matters.”
As long as the mail is easy to understand and gets the right message across, I am personally ok even if it’s written by a machine. The human behind the message may not have a good command of English and thus relies on Gen AI to clean up his text. It’s still a thinking human that I’m communicating with.
However, if the intention is just to spam me or send over pointless content, it doesn’t matter if it’s written by a human or a machine. I will just delete the email.
I think I’m starting to develop a “Human Ways of Living In an AI World” playbook….
