Earlier this year, a participant from my Generative AI workshop wrote this feedback: “Trainer should spend less time talking about himself.” Ouch!
But he/she was right, I shared too much about my background and I’ve since compressed my self-intro to one minute.
I still want to cut it down further… Yesterday, I explained to a lady how is it that a communications veteran like me can teach Generative AI. After all, I can’t code and I’m not working in an AI startup.
I said, “Well, I’ve been teaching people how to communicate with each other. Now, I also teach people how to communicate with machines.”
Hmm, I think that should be my self-intro from now on.
