Two years ago, I used a powerful computer to train on a set of images for several hours so I could generate AI images in the same style. This week, I uploaded a few Rembrandt sketches to Midjourney to achieve the same objective in a matter of minutes.
These two sketches – the young man with curly hair, and the seaside photo – are both AI-generated. IMO, they don’t look AI-generated because of the expressive “pen strokes” derived from Rembrandt’s original style. The third image is the collection of Rembrandt sketches that I uploaded to Midjourney.
For those who are interested to do the same, or, if you are sick of the generic AI-generated images on social media, you can sign up for Midjourney ($10 USD a month) and create your own “moodboards” by uploading your choice images or linking to websites.
