In this week’s newsletter, I share some of the visuals I’ve created with Google’s Nano Banana for my advanced Gen AI Masterclass and a talk on Agentic AI.

I didn’t write much on LinkedIn in the past week as I was prepping the first run of the Advanced Gen AI Masterclass for The Straits Times and I also gave a talk to National Trades Union Congress (NTUC) employees about Agentic AI. I used Google Gemini’s imaging engine (Nano Banana) extensively to create new visuals for my decks, and I’ll share some of them today.
FYI, the text in the images was created separately in PowerPoint or photo-editing software. The old ways are still best for text generation.
Here’s my attempt at clearing up the confusion around “AI agents” and “Agentic AI”: At the top of the slide, robot icons came from PowerPoint’s icon collection, but the bottom, the cute robots were generated by Gemini.
I combined my profile photo and a robot image to create this:
For the ST Masterclass, I turned our group photo into artworks to preserve everyone’s privacy.
Some people found this array of glass canisters pretty morbid. Here’s how I made it, despite Google’s guardrails.
This was not generated by AI, but a photo taken of The Straits Times on 13 Sep 2025 showing my Masterclasses appearing side-by-side. For more info about the ST Masterclasses, visit STSkills. I currently teach four Masterclasses, please click on the links for more info.
