To cater to the growing Chinese market in Singapore, I’m rolling out a Mandarin edition of my Generative AI fundamentals workshop in coming months. To prepare for it, I’m going to be reading and speaking Chinese as much as possible every day, and using Gen AI to augment the process.
This morning, I downloaded the original “The Romance of Three Kingdoms” by Luo Guanzhong. It’s very difficult for me to read this classical Chinese novel, so I’m using my “Frisky Chinese Translator” GPT to help me read and understand it paragraph by paragraph. I’ve always wanted to read the original and now I’m able to do it with the help of AI.
My “Frisky Chinese Translator” is available for free, just search for it under GPTs in the ChatGPT sidebar menu. It provides both pinyin and English translations line by line, and also a glossary of difficult words.
