This list of prompts written by students was just reposted by OpenAI, and from it, I learned new ways of learning using ChatGPT (or any LLM). To my fellow educators, it’s important that you read this and try the prompts yourself. A lot of conversations around LLMs focus on hallucinations and bias, but that’s not stopping students from extracting useful information and answers for their school work. I think this list will also help us redesign our lessons and assignments to get to the heart of learning.
For adults, you can adapt the prompts for your work too. For example, the 20/80 rule applies to many businesses, and it’s good to test opposing viewpoints before you enter a high-stakes meeting.
