Google Gemini now allows you to upload an image and animate it with the Google Veo 3 engine. I uploaded a photo of cat drawings that I did last year, and asked Gemini to have the cats come to life and walk off the page.
Well, one cat did it right. The other three cats didn’t get the memo.
I’ll try this experiment again tomorrow with just one cat. I think four cats overwhelmed the AI. As a Google AI Pro user ($30/month), I’m only allowed to create three Veo 3 videos a day, and I busted my quota trying to make my hair grow in another photo (it’s quite horrifying!).
