I always enjoy the questions I get during our lunch and tea breaks at The Straits Times Generative AI Masterclass.
“Ian, won’t AI make people worse writers?”
“Can ChatGPT let us analyze 20 CVs at one go?”
“Which jobs won’t be replaced by AI?”
I give my views where I can, but I also know my brain dataset is limited. So, I’m also cheerful when I say, “I really don’t know what’s going to happen to us and our jobs in the next 5 years. But we need to start figuring it out now.”
Yesterday, I got to introduce the latest Image-to-Video works I have been creating with Midjourney and Runway apps. I told the class, “This is the first Masterclass where I’ve stopped saying ‘AI Video is terrible, don’t use it!'”
Thank you to everyone who attended the Masterclass!
